Assassin's creed two

Content Rating: 18+(RP)

Description:Set during the Italian Renaissance, players will take on the role of a new hero, Ezio. He is the shadowy, bereaved son of a Florentine nobleman, who sets out on a quest to avenge his family. The tale that is spun revolves around a major power struggle between competing noble families in the Italian city-states and the subsequent conspiracy that affects the entire peninsula. As Ezio, players will be supported by a vast network of informants and street toughs as well as grand figures of the Renaissance such as Leonardo Da Vinci; the master artist, scientist, and inventor will act much like Q from the James Bond films, providing Ezio with tools and inventions to accomplish his goals.First, Ezio will be able to make use of a lot of new weapons; however, his dual retracting daggers are likely to see the most action. Second, hiding spots are not as safe as they once were. Guards are smarter in non-combat situations and they will come to investigate ?even if it does lead to an untimely death. Third, and probably most importantly, not only have more mission types been added, but multiple objectives will be strung together on the fly. That means a failed assassination will lead to a chase mission, which may in turn lead to an escape mission. These unscripted gameplay segments should allow for a lot of replay value and force players to complete objectives cleanly. By the way, the ps3 and Xbox 360 version of the game would be on the game shelves on 2009 november. The pc version is delayed to the first 3 months of 2010. They said that the game was delayed as to present players a better graphics and gameplay.

Boderlands

Content Rating: 18+(RP)

Description: Ah, Borderlands! This game has been very eye-catching ever since it was announced to be on the game shelves on 20 oct 2009. The Xbox 360 game showdown at Vivo city in Sinagpore has proved that this game is really good! It's a cooperative RPG-shooter hybrid that brings players all the charm of Mad Max to a galaxy far, far away. From the unique, hand-drawn art style to the "bazillions of guns" you can pick up, Borderlands oozes craft and fun. This is a gamer's game - full of action, rewards, and challenge. The world of Pandora is wonderfully realized, character advancement is satisfying, and the shooting mechanics are solid. All in all, Borderlands comes off without a hitch. This will likely be the sleeper hit of 2009. Hopefully it will keep its head above water amidst stiff competition from the likes of Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age, because such a quality title shouldn't go to waste. The game takes place on the planet of Pandora - a barren wasteland filled with thugs, bandits, and death - in this regard it is very Tatooine-like. Needless to say, you'll "never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" than what's inhabiting this dangerous world. Dilapidated shanty towns strewn throughout the Borderlands are the only centers of civilization (if you can call them that). The human population on Pandora is on this backwards, fringe orb for one reason: to find the mythical Vault. Legend has it that a vault, hidden somewhere on the planet, secures a horde of wealth, power, and alien technology so fabulous that its finder will be destined to change history. The tantalizing nature of this legend has brought you here, too. However, unlike the rest of the rabble, you've got a mysterious guide on your side assuring you that you are the chosen one. While the story of Borderlands isn't outstanding, it definitely begets a setting that's utterly fun to roam around in. After being dropped off at the nearest settlement, you'll soon learn the ropes to surviving in the Borderlands. You'll be given a handful of fetch quests from key Pandorians that will not only teach you the combat ropes, but they'll get you through the first five character levels, preparing you for the far more dangerous challenges ahead. The desciption does not tell all about the game, you have to play it to experince it. It's avaliable on ps3,Xbox 360 and PC.

DJ Hero

Content Rating: T(Teen)

Description: In 2009 alone, more than 20 games have been released that have something to do with plastic instruments, be they guitars, microphones, drums, or all three. However, even though there are plenty of choices for the rock-heavy gamer, there's not that much variety within the genre. However, this October, it looks like this somewhat overdone genre is getting a much-needed dose of innovation with DJ Hero; a title that doesn't challenge you to make music but to mix it!
The DJ Hero peripheral comes with a custom turntable controller complete with three stream buttons mounted at the top of the turntable, a crossfader, effects dial (which is like the whammy bar on a Guitar Hero Controller), and a Euphoria button. The controller isn't very large, and all of the buttons (save for the three stream button) are on the side of the turntable on a small platform that can be switched around to accommodate both right and left-handed players. There are plenty of moving parts to the controller, but after a few minutes with it, it was easy to memorize where all the important buttons are -experienced rhythm gamers should have no problems getting into the groove with this one immediately. Newcomers to the genre may be a little more daunted by the controller (especially the 360 degree, rotating turntable). Even though it is more complex than a Guitar Hero guitar, everything is incredibly intuitive. Even the most novice of players should be able to grasp the basics of the controller fairly easily. The core mechanics of the game are the same as other Hero-style games, featuring a note bar with horizontal streams and button indicators on them. When you play DJ Hero on its Beginner and Easy difficulty settings, the game is almost identical to its spiritual predecessors in the fact that all you will be doing is waiting for the notes to come down, and then pressing the corresponding buttons on the turntable. However, once you graduate to the medium level (where the "real" game starts, as I was told by one of the developers), that's where the differences come into play. While you only really use the buttons on top of the turntable to play on the easier difficulty, the medium level introduces the all-important cross-fading and scratching techniques. Again, I suggest you buy the game and try it out. I can't possibly tell you all about it. It's avavilable on 29 Sep 2009. This game is avaliable on PS3,PS2,Xbox360 and Wii.

Smackdown VS. Raw 2010

Content Rating:T (Teen)

Description: vs. Raw title. Just like any other sports franchise, fans expect a quality yearly update, and over the years, Yuke's and THQ have certainly delivered. New roster updates, online modes, and deeper character customization have been hallmarks of previous iterations, making each title bigger and better than the last. However, this year's SvR has really outdone previous years, becoming the most immersive WWE title to date. One of the biggest features of any wrestling title is the creation aspects. Character creation in particular has always been a lynchpin of games in the wrestling genre, and as fans have always enjoyed creating both original characters as well as re-creating WWE legends. But now, with the release of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, fans will be in for a real treat. In addition to creating new characters, players will now be able to tell their own stories. Without question, the Story Designer feature is the biggest and best addition to the SmackDown vs. Raw series. Players can take complete creative control of the WWE universe and place any wrestler they want in any situation they want. The Story Designer allows players to create their own WWE storyline by placing events and matches on a calendar. This calendar is capable of handling stories that last up to ten years, so you can make your story as long and detailed as you want! Interesting? Go buy it now! Avaliable on the game shelves on 20 Oct 2009.
